Aaron Carter's former fiancée, Melanie Martin, confirmed to PEOPLE that she got a DNA test this week to prove that the late singer is the father of her nearly 3-year-old son, Prince.
She told TMZ, who first reported the news, that it proves "without a shadow of a doubt" that Carter is Prince's dad and comes after hearing so many "baseless" rumors and accusations for years. After sharing the news that Martin was expecting during an Instagram Live in April 2020, Carter told PEOPLE at the time that is exactly "what we both want."
