A$AP Rocky, born Rakim Mayers, has made a significant mark in the music and fashion industries over the past decade or so. In August 2022, the Los Angeles Police Department arrested him at LAX, charging him with two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, to which he pleaded not guilty. He signed with Polo Grounds Music, an imprint of RCA Records in October of that year, and shortly after, released his debut mixtape, Live.
