A24 has acquired 'Pillion,' the kinky queer romance in which Harry Melling plays Alexander Skarsgard's submissive
A24 has bought U.S. distribution right to “Pillion,” a film described as a “fun and filthy romance with heart” and starring Alexander Skarsgard(“The Northman,” “Succession”) and Harry Melling(“The Pale Blue Eye,” “The Queen’s Gambit”). The screenplay was developed with BBC Film and is based on Adam Mars-Jones’ “Box Hill,” which was the 2019 Fitzcarraldo Editions Nobel Prize winner. Skarsgård is represented by CAA and Hansen, Jacobson, Teller, Hoberman, Newman, Warren, Richman, Rush, Kaller, Gellman, Meigs & Fox.
