To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the group’s formation, A Tribe Called Quest partnered with the NBA for a new collection with sports apparel brand HOMAGE. The new NBA collection mashes up iconic lyrics from A Tribe Called Quest songs, like “We on Award Tour,” “I’m Above the Rim” and “Represent, Represent,” with NBA teams, including the Cleveland Cavaliers, Golden State Warriors, L.A. Lakers, Houston Rockets and much more. HOMAGE As part of the collaboration, New York Times best-selling author Hanif Abdurraqib compares why A Tribe Called Quest and basketball go hand-in-hand.
