A Quarter of All Broadcasters Now Using AI, More Than Doubling Last Year, New Report Finds


A new Haivision broadcast survey found that 25% of broadcasters are now using AI.

Also underscoring growing urgency around the tech, when asked to identify the three factors that they believe will have the most impact on their industry in the next five years, 64% named AI and its subset, machine learning. The sixth annual Haivision report findings are based on responses from an estimated 900 broadcast and media professionals. “From the continued expansion of SRT, 5G and AI to the measured adoption of cloud technologies, broadcast ecosystems are evolving to leverage new tools that drive efficiency, enhance production quality and future-proof their operations.”
