A Place In The Sun star Jonnie Irwin shared his final post just days before it was announced that he had tragically died at the age of 50 after a three year battle with lung cancer
In the post, the family paid tribute to Jonnie as "a truly remarkable soul" who "touched the lives of so many with his kindness, warmth, and infectious spirit." While the post wasn't about his health, it received loads of comments from followers who hailed the presenter for being "the bravest man" and an "inspiration." Before this, Jonnie had taken to Instagram on 25 January to say that he hadn't slept for six days and was waiting for an MRI scan which he labelled "claustrophobic."
