A Place in the Sun presenter Laura Hamilton has revealed that filming for the Channel 4 show was once cancelled after a disaster struck during an episode in Florida
Laura quipped: "It was a disaster, but it made it memorable," revealing that the moment of mishap was quite evident as she ended up parading around in "mud-covered high heeled shoes". Laura is one of the regular presenters on Channel 4's A Place in the Sun (Image: 2014 Mike Prior)The couple had their hearts set on a renovation project, but one particular property seemed to push them over the edge. Candy elaborated: "I'm finding that a little bit more daunting, the level of renovations so maybe we've not made it entirely clear," indicating that their idea of a fixer-upper didn't extend to the extensive refurbishment required for the house in question.
