A new series about Julio Iglesias’ life and career is coming to Netflix, and the Spanish crooner will be part of the creative process.
“For the first time, the living legend will be part of the creative process and help bring to life a Netflix series that chronicles his incredible musical trajectory.” “After that many speculations, books and documentaries in which I have not been involved, for the first time, I have decided to tell the truth about my life to a universal company like Netflix,” the 80-year-old artist said in a statement, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The forthcoming series will “tell the story of how Iglesias became the first non-English artist to enter the American and Asian markets and turned into a universal star who is among the five biggest record sellers in history.
