In the 448-page biography, writer Ian Leslie attempts to shatter the endless myths that have followed the pair since the Beatles heydey in the ’60s through the group’s disbandment in 1970 to modern day. The film is also the first narrative feature to be granted music rights to the Beatles’ extensive catalog of hits such as “Strawberry Fields,” “Let It Be,” “I Am the Walrus,” “Yellow Submarine” and many, many more.
