‘Zone of Interest’ Oscar Winner Johnnie Burn Becomes First Sound Designer to Sign With CAA (EXCLUSIVE)
Sound designer, supervising sound editor and re-recording mixer Johnnie Burn, who recently won an Oscar for "Zone of Interest," has signed with CAA.
Burn is also a longtime collaborator of Yorgos Lanthimos, having done sound for “The Lobster,” “Killing of a Sacred Deer,” “The Favourite,” and most recently, “Poor Things.” The morning after this year’s Oscars ceremony, he showed up to work at the Fox Studio Lot in L.A. to start mixing the project, but realized he had forgotten his ID. Before dedicating himself to film, Burn contributed to advertisements and music videos for artists including Travis Scott, Madonna, Prince, George Michael, David Bowie, Richard Ashcroft, UNKLE and The Spice Girls.
