‘Young Sheldon’ Stars Montana Jordan & Emily Osment, CBS Boss Tease “Emotional” Final Episodes, Series’ Sendoff To Include Pilot Encore
Young Sheldon, The Big Bang prequel, will air two back-to-back episodes over the next two weeks as it wraps its seven-season run on CBS.
As previously reported, the series finale of Young Sheldon will feature appearances by series executive producer and narrator Jim Parsons, who portrayed Sheldon Cooper on The Big Bang Theory throughout its 12-season run, and fellow Big Bang alumna Mayim Bialik. In The Big Bang Theory, it was revealed the George Sr. died when Sheldon was 14, but the cause of his death was never disclosed in the mothership series. Young Sheldon stars Montana Jordan and Emily Osment hinted at what is in store when asked about the upcoming May 16 series finale.
