'Young and the Restless' Star Meg Bennett Dead at 75 After Cancer Battle

Meg Bennett, who starred on 'Young and the Restless' and was a writer for 'General Hospital,' died at age 75 earlier this month

Oliver was traveling home from a Caribbean vacation with his two daughters — Madita and Annik, whom he shared with wife Jessica Klepser — on January 4. “I’d been acting on the show for almost two years when this happened, so I knew the characters,” Bennett recalled in a 1985 interview about her decision to work behind the camera. Bennett’s career as a screenwriter soared with credits on Santa Barbara in the early ’90s, where she also played author Megan Richardson.
