‘Yellowstone’s Jefferson White To Topline Holiday Dramedy ‘Drink And Be Merry’ From Adam Volerich
Jefferson White is set to topline 'Drink and Be Merry,' a new indie holiday dramedy from Adam Volerich.
Its protagonist, Chet (White), is a beleaguered bartender in a state of extended arrested development, who must balance taking care of his misanthropic, aging regulars — who have nowhere else to go, and rely on him for far more than pouring drinks — with his naive desires to muster some Christmas spirit. Recently finishing his series run as Jimmy Hurdstrom on Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone, which ran for five seasons, White is otherwise best known for his roles in critically acclaimed films such as Alex Garland’s Civil War, Eileen, and God’s Country as well as television appearances including Jordan Peele’s Twilight Zone, Evil, The Alienist, Invasion and The Americans. Volerich is perhaps best known for his David Lynch- inspired weekly film history podcast, Eye of the Duck, which he co-created and co-hosts with Dominick Nero, the Webby Award-winning editor with whom he cut Drink and Be Merry.
