‘Yellowstone’ Spinoff With Luke Grimes Returning as Kayce Dutton Ordered at CBS
The new "Yellowstone" series centered on Kayce Dutton has been greenlit at CBS, Variety has learned.
When fans last saw the character, he had retained a small part of the Yellowstone Dutton ranch for his family after selling off the majority to the Broken Rock Indian Reservation. Marshals, combining his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to bring range justice to Montana, where he and his teammates must balance family, duty and the high psychological cost that comes with serving as the last line of defense in the region’s war on violence.” Hudnut was most recently the showrunner on the final two seasons of the CBS/Paramount+ show “SEAL Team.” His other credits include “The Blacklist: Redemption” and “Unforgettable.” He is repped by CAA and TFC.
