‘Yellowstone’ Begins Production on Final Episodes; Season 5 Still Set to Resume in November
It's the beginning of the end for "Yellowstone," as production is now begun on the final episodes of the megahit series.
As was previously reported, production on the final episodes of the series was delayed in 2023 due to the dual writers’ and actors’ strike that shutdown most of Hollywood. It was also previously reported that “Yellowstone” star Kevin Costner would be exiting the series in Season 5, reportedly over his desire to focus on the epic Western feature “Horizon,” which would have seriously impacted his availability to film “Yellowstone.” The first part of the film is scheduled to be released in June 2024, with part two following in August. Both serves as executive producers along with Costner, Art Linson, David C. Glasser, Bob Yari, Stephen Kay, Michael Friedman, Christina Voros, and Keith Cox.
