While discussing Season 3 of the hit Showtime series, Melanie Lynskey raved to Deadline about reuniting with co-star Ella Purnell in this week’s episode ’12 Angry Girls and 1 Drunk Travis’ and watching the presidential election together in November. Although her character Jackie froze to death in the Season 1 finale before becoming her teammates’ barbecue, Purnell reprised the role to haunt the adult version of her best friend Shauna (Lynskey) while she’s appropriately trapped in a walk-in freezer. Jackie also returned in last week’s episode during teen Shauna ( Sophie Nélisse), Van (Liv Hewson) and Akilah’s (Nia Sondoya) trippy shared cave hallucination.
