‘Yellowjackets’ Creators Admit Fans Were Quickly “On To Us” About Hilary Swank’s Mystery Role
With two episodes left in the season, 'Yellowjackets' finally revealed one of its biggest guest stars yet.
Co-creators Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson previously spoke to Deadline ahead of this weekend’s episode ‘A Normal, Boring Life’, in which Hilary Swank was revealed to be the adult version of Jenna Burgess’ character Melissa. With a volatile situationship evolving between teen Shauna (Sophie Nélisse) and Melissa (Burgess) in the ’90s timeline, their modern-day reunion is made all the more dramatic. And as adult Melissa denies blackmailing the group, Shauna’s animalistic side resurfaces, forcing her ex to eat a slice of her own flesh in the final moments of the episode.
