‘X-Men ’97’ Writer Beau DeMayo Exits Marvel/Disney+ Animated Series Just Ahead Of Premiere
Beau DeMayo, writer of Disney+'s X-Men '97, Marvel's revival of the classic '90s animated series, has parted ways with Marvel ahead of the premiere.
De Mayo had already completed writing both seasons 1 and 2 of the series, which holds its L.A. premiere tomorrow, March 13. The voice cast includes Ray Chase as Cyclops, Jennifer Hale as Jean Grey, Alison Sealy-Smith as Storm, Cal Dodd as Wolverine, JP Karliak as Morph, Lenore Zann as Rogue, George Buza as Beast, AJ LoCascio as Gambit, Holly Chou as Jubilee, Isaac Robinson-Smith as Bishop, Matthew Waterson as Magneto and Adrian Hough as Nightcrawler. Featuring music by The Newton Brothers, the series is executive produced by Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito and Victoria Alonso.
