‘Wonder Man’ Crew Member Dead Following On-Set Accident

A crew member working on Marvel's 'Wonder Man' series died after falling from a rafter on Tuesday morning, Rolling Stone has learned.

A crew member working on Marvel ’s Wonder Man television series has died in an on-set accident. “Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family and friends, and our support is behind the investigation into the circumstances of this accident,” a Marvel spokesperson said in a statement. Filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretin — director of Marvel’s 2021 film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings — created the show, developing it alongside head writer Andrew Guest ( Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Community), as part of a deal Cretin has with Marvel Studios and Onyx Collective.
