This has Marvel fans staring down the film’s principal cast of Ariana Grande, Jonathan Bailey and Cynthia Erivo to potentially join the MCU. Speaking on The Hot Mic, scooper Jeff Sneider revealed that Marvel is interested in bringing Cynthia Erivo, who plays the Wicked Witch Elphaba in the film, into the MCU as the X-Men heroine Storm. During a recent appearance at the National Board of Review Awards Gala, the actress revealed that playing Storm would be a “dream role” due to the character’s complex inner world and ornate aesthetic.
