One day prior to the announcement, Wicked also released a sneak peek dedicated to Ariana Grande ‘s performance as Glinda, whom the pop superstar portrays opposite Cynthia Erivo. In the 30-second teaser, fans are treated to previously unseen clips of the pink-obsessed Good Witch hilariously checking out her own reflection, riding to Munchkinland in her flying bubble and flirting with Jonathan Bailey’s Fiyero. Paired with extended snippets of Grande singing “Popular” — Glinda’s signature song in the Stephen Schwartz Broadway musical on which the films are based — the preview also features new clips of the R.E.M.
