‘Who’s The Boss?’ Sequel, ‘Bosch’s J. Edgar Spinoff Not Going Forward At Amazon
Amazon is not proceeding with the Untitled J. Edgar project, a Bosch spinoff, and the Who’s the Boss? sequel starring Tony Danza and Alyssa Milano.
Larry Andries ( Blue Bloods) was writing the script for the J. Edgar spinoff, which he executive produced with Michael Connelly, author of the Harry Bosch book series. Jamie Hector, who starred as Edgar opposite Welliver on Bosch, was poised to reprise his role in the potential spinoff. Set 30 years after the events of the original series, the sequel focuses on former Major League Baseball player/retired housekeeper Tony Micelli (Danza) and his relationship with his daughter Samantha (Milano).
