At the helm of the project is producer Natasha Rothwell, and she will be starring as the social media creator Tareasa “Reesa Teesa” Johnson, per Variety. Throughout her series, Reesa Teesa claimed that her ex told numerous lies, including being a San Diego State University football player and that he asked for help in paying for a funeral for his stepdaughter, who was apparently still alive. Reesa Tessa’s videos quickly caught traction on TikTok, and she eventually acquired more than 3 million followers on the platform.
