‘White Lotus’ Star Jason Isaacs Calls Out Duke for ‘Ridiculous’ Criticism
Jason Isaacs responded to Duke University's criticism of 'The White Lotus,' calling their reaction to his Duke t-shirt on the show 'ridiculous'
Isaacs, 61, played Timothy Ratliff on season 3 of the HBO drama, which saw the disgraced father of three frequently wearing a t-shirt repping Duke University. Isaacs showed up to the event wearing a shirt emblazoned with Duke’s Blue Devils’ logo, which he had recently purchased while being stuck at the Charlotte airport. “But characters prominently wearing apparel bearing Duke’s federally registered trademarks creates confusion and mistakenly suggests an endorsement or affiliation where none exists.”
