"The White Lotus" creator Mike White is firing back at Cristóbal Tapia de Veer, the show's composer who is not returning for Season 4.
The composer said that for Season 3 the creator wanted more “background music … a song that is more like something you would listen to in Ibiza, in some clubby place with a chill, sexy vibe.” “I texted the producer and I told him that it would be great to, at some point, give them the longer version with the ooh-loo-loo-loos, because people will explode if they realize that it was going there anyway,” Tapia de Veer added. He appeared on the official “White Lotus” podcast after the Season 3 finale aired and told off viewers who complained the new episodes were too slow and boring.
