‘Wednesday’: Netflix Unveils First 6 Minutes of Season 2, Reveals Lady Gaga’s Role
Netflix has unveiled the opening six minutes of Season 2 of 'Wednesday' and revealed Lady Gaga’s role on the much-anticipated second season.
The clip lays down the foundation for Season 2, with Jenna Ortega ’s Wednesday Addams on the hunt for (and the prisoner of) a notorious serial killer dubbed the Kansas City Scalper, played by Haley Joel Osment: However, Gaga’s “mysterious and enigmatic” character Rosaline Rotwood — “a legendary Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday,” Netflix said — won’t appear until the second half of Season 2 premieres on September 3. While Little Monsters and Wednesday fans will have to wait an additional month for Gaga’s appearance, the singer was on hand at the Tudum event Saturday, and closed out the evening’s worth of trailers and first looks with a performance of “Zombieboy” and “Abracadabra,” both incorporating elements of the classic Addams Family theme.
