‘Wednesday’ Adds Thandiwe Newton To Season 2 Cast
Thandiwe Newton is the latest to join the Season 2 cast of Wednesday, sources confirm to Deadline.
That’s where she attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore. Starring Jenna Ortega in the title role, Season 1 cast also included Catherine Zeta-Jones as matriarch Morticia Addams and Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams, along with Thora Birch, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Hunter Doohan, Georgie Farmer, Moosa Mostafa, Emma Myers, Naomi J. Ogawa, Joy Sunday, and Percy Hynes White. Newton received three Emmy nominations for best supporting actress, winning in 2018, for her role as Maeve Millay in HBO’s Westworld.
