‘We Were Liars’ Series at Amazon Casts David Morse (EXCLUSIVE)
David Morse has joined the cast of the upcoming "We Were Liars" series adaptation at Amazon Prime Video, Variety has learned exclusively.
Morse joins previously announced cast members Mamie Gummer, Caitlin FitzGerald, and Candice King in the series, which is based on the E. Lockhart novel of the same name. Morse’s recent TV credits include “The Last Thing He Told Me” at Apple TV+, “The Chair” at Netflix, “The Good Lord Bird” at Showtime, and “The Deuce” at HBO. He also previously starred in the WGN America series “Outsiders.” In film, Morse is known for roles in features such as “The Green Mile,” “The Hurt Locker,” “World War Z,” and “Concussion.” He is a highly-regarded stage actor as well, having receive multiple Tony nominations, including for “The Iceman Cometh” and “How I Learned to Drive on Broadway.”
