She listened without much enthusiasm, however, as ITV's then CEO Peter Fincham made his audacious bid, outlining his team's plans to rejuvenate their daytime television schedule after the ratings slump suffered by the news breakfast show Daybreak, which had replaced GMTV in 2010.
