‘Watson’ First Look Explores What Happens to the Sidekick After Sherlock Holmes’ Death (TV News Roundup)
In this week's TV News Roundup, CBS' 'Watson' first look explores what happens to the character after Sherlock Holmes dies.
The movie stars members of the original series cast including Jace Norman as Henry Danger, Sean Ryan Fox as Jasper, Ella Anderson as Piper Hart, Michael D. Cohen as Schwoz, and Frankie Grande as Frankini. The cast features host Anthony Anderson, Taye Diggs (“All American,” “How Stella Got Her Groove Back”), Tyler Posey (“Teen Wolf”), Bruno Tonioli (“Dancing with the Stars”), James Van Der Beek (“Dawson’s Creek,” “Varsity Blues”) and super bowl champion Chris Jones. This story is adapted from author Jacqueline Wilson’s novel of the same name, which itself is a modern-day retelling of Edith Nesbit’s 1905 “The Railway Children.” After a young Phoebe (Ava Joyce McCarthy) and her siblings are forced to move to a Scottish village, their father ( Kevin McKidd) goes missing.
