EXCLUSIVE: A month and a half after the painful cancellation of So Help Me Todd, main cast member Inga Schlingmann has been tapped as a series regular on another CBS procedural, the upcoming Watson, headlined by Morris Chestnut. The daughter of a German and Taiwanese immigrants, Schlingmann has some medical background, having shadowed cardiothoracic surgeons at NY Presbyterian Hospital while attending NYU and having worked as a birth doula with Americorp post-graduation. She recently played sadistic hitwoman Ellen on Netflix’s breakout hit The Night Agent and can be seen in the final season of Paramount+’s Star Trek: Discovery as outlaw Moll.
