Is Amanda Waller being put into Checkmate? A new rumor suggests that the Task Force X offshoot is headed to the DC Universe in the upcoming series.
Yet as the months drag and filming for Peacemaker having wrapped long ago, fans have gotten curious as to why the Amanda Waller-led project remains shrouded in mystery. It’s currently unclear what form the team will take, as they’ve been both a strategic offshoot of Task Force X, and an official member of the United Nations Security council, two options that would have a very different impact on the show depending on which they choose. According to a new rumor from scooper Jeff Sneider suggests that longtime team member King Faraday will make his debut in the upcoming Waller series.
