‘Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery’ First Look: Josh O’Connor Joins Daniel Craig for a New Investigation
Netflix plans to release the third "Knives Out Mystery" this fall.
“ Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery ” features the return of Southern detective Benoit Blanc, played by Craig in his “most dangerous case yet,” joined by an all-star cast of suspects including O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack and Thomas Haden Church. The movie surrounded the death of a crime novelist and his family, and featured a cast that included Chris Evans, Ana de Armas and Jamie Lee Curtis. Netflix then inked a deal with Johnson for two additional “Knives Out” mysteries, the first was 2022’s “Glass Onion,” set on a tech billionaires private island with suspects played by the likes of Edward Norton, Janelle Monae and Kathryn Hahn.
