‘Vikings: Valhalla’s Sam Corlett Latest To Join Kevin Costner’s Surf Thriller ‘Headhunters’
Thriller 'Headhunters' has tapped rising Australian actor Sam Corlett for a role opposite Kevin Costner.
Marking the feature directorial debut of veteran cinematographer Steven Holleran, Headhunters follows Lazer (Costner), a washed-up American ex-pat, convicted for smuggling ancient relics, who’s serving time in Bali’s infamous Kerobokan prison. After a daring escape, he recruits a group of thrill-seeking surfers led by Bima (Zovatto), a local photographer, and embarks on a journey to an uncharted island, believed to host the perfect wave. Costner and Howard Kaplan are producing for Territory Pictures, along with Stone Village Films’ Scott Steindorff, Dylan Russell, Lindsay Davis, and Stacey Woods.
