'Vanderpump Rules' executive producer Alex Baskin responds to season 12 fan 'skepticism' and promises a fun return to the series’ core themes
According to Baskin, he and his fellow producers knew they “would be met with some skepticism” when they announced that VPR season 12 would feature an all-new cast. Katie Maloney, Ariana Madix, Tom Sandoval, Lisa Vanderpump, James Kennedy, Lala Kent, Tom Schwartz, and Scheana Shay.Vanderpump Rules fans might be drinking pump-tinis to deal with the surprise casting shakeup — but the OG cast wasn’t as blindsided by the news. The new cast, whose identities have not yet been publicly shared, started filming earlier in April with Lisa Vanderpump, who previously teased that they will be able to live up to their iconic predecessors.
