‘Valorant’ Gets Console Launch Across Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5

Riot Games' popular free-to-play tactical shooter "Valorant" is no longer a PC-only game.

As of Friday, the title has officially launched across Xbox Series X and S consoles and PlayStation 5 in the United States and Canada, Europe, Japan and Brazil, following limited beta testing. The free-to-play title, which launched in 2020, is “a precise and lethal multiplayer game with high-fidelity gunplay, a diverse arsenal of guns, agents with unique abilities, and competitively tuned maps for unlimited hours of play. Though “Valorant’s” move to Xbox X and S and PlayStation 5 is limited to United States and Canada, Europe, Japan and Brazil territories for now, Riot says it “will continue to monitor other regions for further expansion onto consoles.
