‘Unified Reich’: Donald Trump Shares Video Featuring Nazi-Era Term, Campaign Says Staffer Failed To Spot It

Joe Biden’s campaign quickly seized on a video posted to Donald Trump ‘s social media account that referenced a “unified Reich” as a possibility if the former president were to win back the White House in November. Trump has been in a New York courtroom for much of the day as he attends his criminal trial on charges that he falsified business records to cover up hush money payments to former porn star Stormy Daniels. Andrew Bates, a White House spokesman, said of the video, “It is abhorrent, sickening and disgraceful for anyone to promote content associated with Germany’s Nazi government under Adolf Hitler.” He called it “anti-semitic dog whistling” that was “dangerous and offensive — and profoundly un-American.”
