‘Twisted Metal’ Season 2 Casts ‘Barry’ Star Anthony Carrigan as Calypso (EXCLUSIVE)
'Barry' star Anthony Carrigan will play Calypso in Season 2 of Peacock's 'Twisted Metal' adaptation.
He will play Calypso, a character from the “Twisted Metal” video games who is described as “the mysterious, charismatic host and creator of a dangerous demolition derby tournament, who invites all assassins, vigilantes, mercenaries and joyriders to participate. Also joining the cast of the action comedy series are Richard de Klerk (“A Teenage Prophet,” “Strange Empire”), Patty Guggenheim (“She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,” “Florida Girls”), and Tiana Okoye (“Panhandle,” “Mrs. With the help of a badass axe-wielding car thief, he faces savage marauders driving vehicles of destruction and other dangers of the open road, including a deranged clown who drives an all too familiar ice cream truck.” The cast also includes Stephanie Beatriz as Quiet, Joe Seanoa aka Samoa Joe as the body of Sweet Tooth, Will Arnett as the voice of Sweet Tooth and Thomas Haden Church as Agent Stone.
