‘True Detective’ Season 5 Setting Revealed As HBO Series Gears Up For Production
True Detective is moving to a new state for the upcoming fifth season as the series gears up for production.
The upcoming fifth season of HBO ‘s Emmy-winning crime anthology series True Detective — and the second with Issa Lopez as writer/showrunner — is moving along. It also is moving to another state, HBO’s Head of Drama Series and Film Francesca Orsi told Deadline during The White Lotus Season 3 p while discussing the network’s upcoming slate. True Detective: Night Country, the fourth installment in the anthology, starred Jodie Foster and Kali Reis as detectives who dig into the haunted truths that lie buried under the eternal ice in order to solve the disappearance of the eight men who operate the Tsalal Arctic Research Station in Ennis, Alaska.
