Yeon Sang-ho is set to direct '35th Street' For TriStar Pictures with Appian Way producing
Peninsula, the sequel to Train To Busan was an official selection of the 2020 Cannes Film Festival which was released in July in limited territories during the pandemic, grossing $45M. Both directed by Director Yeon, TV series Hellbound and the film Jung-E were both released via Netflix, and each hit #1 globally on the platform. Recent projects include the Netflix series The Bequeathed, which garnered global attention as a Korean-style mystery thriller, and the Netflix series Parasyte: The Grey, an adaptation of the legendary Japanese manga ‘Parasyte,’ which hit #1 in 45 countries upon its launch.
