‘Top Chef’ Heads to Canada for Season 22
Here's something to cheer aboot: Bravo's next season of "Top Chef" will be set in Canada.
The news was announced by host Kristen Kish and judges Tom Colicchio and Gail Simmons in a video posted to the official “Top Chef” social channels Thursday. “Canada’s culinary identity is rooted in our vast geography, the rhythm of our seasons, and the culture and traditions of our communities; yes that includes maple syrup and so much more. The show’s Wisconsin-set Season 21 — which marked Kish’s first round as host following the exit of longtime “Top Chef” staple Padma Lakshmi — just concluded with its June 19 finale, in which chef Danny Garcia was named the winner after an epic culinary battle with runner-ups Dan Jacobs and Savannah Miller.
