‘Today’ Host Vicky Nguyen Gets Called Out for Wearing Slippers During Episode: ‘We’re Tired’
Today's Vicky Nguyen was called out during a broadcast by cohost Peter Alexander for wearing bright 'Christmas slippers' as she filled in on the show.
Vicky was joined by Laura Jarrett, Peter Alexander and Jacob Soboroff during the episode as fill-in cohosts. Folks might remember a moment on the show in 2017 when Savannah Guthrie reached her hand down her shirt in the middle of a Today broadcast when her microphone wasn’t cooperating. “Right before we came on, my mic, which was right here, dropped down my shirt, and I knew I was supposed to read the intro, so I just made a decision to reach out and get it,” she explained.
