'Today' Host Sheinelle Jones' Husband Uche Ojeh Dead at Age 45

Sheinelle Jones' husband Uche Ojeh has died at 45 after battling glioblastoma, with friends and colleagues rallying around the 'Today' star

“With profound sadness, we share this morning that Uche Ojeh, the husband of our dear friend and Today cohost Sheinelle Jones has passed away after a courageous battle with an aggressive form of brain cancer called glioblastoma,” Savannah Guthrie announced on the show on Friday, May 23. While fans originally thought it was just a journalist taking some time off for the holidays, Jones eventually spoke out about her absence in a social media post. In addition to cohosting Today’s 3rd hour with Al Roker, Craig Melvin and Dreyer, Jones also serves as an executive producer of MSNBC’s Stories We Tell: The Fertility Secret.
