‘Tires’ Trailer: Shane Gillis Leads Team of Auto Repair Misfits in Raunchy Netflix Comedy
Shane Gillis leads a team of auto repair misfits in the trailer for Netflix's 'Tires,' a six-episode raunchy workplace comedy.
The six-episode scripted show follows Will (Steven Gerben), “the nervous and unqualified heir to an auto repair chain” who “attempts to turn his father’s business around despite constant torture from his cousin and now employee, Shane (Gillis),” according to the logline. McKeever also serves as director of “Tires.” The trio also hold the title of writer and executive producer, alongside Brandon James for Rough House; Brian Stern and Kenneth Slotnick for AGI Entertainment Media & Management; and Becky Astphan. Despite his awkward rise to fame — Gillis was hired by “Saturday Night Live” and then fired days later after clips of him using racial slurs on his podcast resurfaced — he has become one of the biggest names in comedy over the last couple of years.
