‘Thunderbolts*’ Powers to the Top, While ‘Minecraft’ and ‘Sinners’ Stay Strong at U.K., Ireland Box Office


Disney and Marvel’s ensemble feature "Thunderbolts*" debuted atop the U.K. and Ireland box office with $7.9 million.

7, “Bluey At The Cinema: Let’s Play Chef Collection” brought in $238,972, a solid outing for Vue Lumière’s latest theatrical presentation of the hit Australian preschool series. Other highlights include “Peg O’ My Heart,” a Hong Kong drama starring Nick Cheung Ka-Fai and Fala Chen, released by Central City Media; “The Last Musician of Auschwitz,” a historical documentary from Cosmic Cat; and “Rangi,” a Nepalese family drama from Maharani Ltd. directed by Suresh Neupane. Releases also include comedy-drama “The Uninvited” from Foton Pictures, starring Pedro Pascal and Walter Goggins; “Seeking Mavis Beacon” presented by TAPE Collective, which investigates the disappearance and reexamines the legacy of one of the most influential Black women in technology; and “The Extraordinary Miss Flower” from BFI Distribution, which features Emilíana Torrini in a genre-blending docufiction.
