Prosecutors disclosed the letter from Ryan Wesley Routh in a new court filing
The man arrested last week in an apparent assassination attempt on the life of former President Donald Trump wrote in a letter of his plans, prosecutors said in a court filing today. Several months ago, the suspect, Ryan Wesley Routh, had dropped off a box at an unidentified witness’ home that included a letter. Apparently referring to Trump, Routh added, “He ended relations with Iran like a child and now the Middle East has unraveled.”
