I've put many to the test on my long, thick locks over the years, and I've recently been wowed by a new favourite that offers speedy drying with minimal noise. I reckon it's the most powerful hair dryer I've ever used, blasting into the roots (although using the styling nozzles does reduce the force somewhat).
