Boots No7's new Pure Retinol, Vitamin C & SPF 30 Day Cream Duo contains three of the best skin ingredients in one pot and it’s streamlined my routine, says beauty editor Laura Mulley
Unfortunately, though, it’s tricky to find all these active ingredients in one product: retinol is usually best used at night as it can increase the skin sensitivity to sun, and “vitamin C and retinoids aren’t usually used together as this can cause irritation,” says consultant dermatologist Dr Shaaira Nasir. However, those clever folks at No7 have found a way to combine both of these – plus SPF 30 – into a time-saving, UK-first moisturiser that effectively tackles fine lines without irritating the skin. Overall I'm really impressed; the two sides work well together – no pilling, greasiness or irritation – and this pot has undoubtedly saved me time in my skincare routine and space in my bathroom cabinet.
