Linkin Park stars in a new 2025 Stanley Cup Final promo soundtracked by their chart-topping hit "Heavy Is the Crown."
As the 2025 Stanley Cup Final kicks off with Wednesday night’s (June 4) Game 1 showdown between the Florida Panthers and the Edmonton Oilers, players and fans alike have no choice but to rock out to the NHL ‘s brand-new promo starring and soundtracked by Linkin Park. The promo — which opened the TNT broadcast of Game 1 — shows the Stanley Cup trophy sinking underwater, surrounded by a school of fish, as Linkin Park’s chart-topping single “Heavy Is the Crown” begins. Taking the stage at Munich Football Arena just before kick-off between Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan, the band’s appearance served as a high-profile preview of their upcoming world tour, which begins June 12 at Austria’s Novarock Festival.
