“Third Grade Gay Taunt”: Donald Trump Again Identifies CNN’s Anderson Cooper As “Allison”
The former president misidentified the gender of the CNN host, as he has done before.
Trump misidentified Cooper at a rally and on social media today, as the Republican presidential candidate was talking about the CNN anchors town hall with Kamala Harris earlier this week. Trump had used the same reference to Cooper before, and the CNN anchor addressed it briefly as he was pushing back on the former president’s claim that he had manipulated what writer E. Jean Carroll would say during a 2019 interview. “He recently referred to me with a female first name, which I guess is like a third-grade gay taunt,” Cooper said in September, before debunking Trump’s claims about the Carroll interview.
